“ECHOES”

Sherrie Miranda:

I thoroughly enjoyed this poem. It is a love poem, but it is also so much more. It reminded me of when my husband and I went to Santa Fe, New Mexico. And it reminded me that I want to return to that land touched by hand of God and ancient native people.

I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did! ;-)

Peace & love,

Sherrie

Sherrie Miranda's historically based, coming of age, Adventure novel “Secrets & Lies in El Salvador” is about an American girl in war-torn El Salvador:

Her husband made a video for her novel. He wrote the song too:

… Take me to that place,

Where eagles circle the sun and chase;

And redwoods soar boundless to my eyes!

… Where arrows of light

Pierce my soul at night;

And leafs of gold scatter.

… Where the air blows.

It is sweet to my senses and flows.

And the sky is true blue.

… Where squirrels run,

And lizard bask under sun

In the splendor of morning.

… Where the waterfalls flow,

Crystal amber’s hue glow.

Where leaves softly veil the earth’s bed;

And only whispering wind is heard!! …
