A lovely session at Start-o-nomics 2015, Delhi.
So I have just got back from Delhi, where I had been invited as one of the main speakers, at Start-o-nomics 2015, which was a start-up and an internship fair organised by the students of the Economics Department of Dyal Singh college, Delhi.
The experience was fabulous--easily one of the best I have had, where I have been invited to speak. (and I have spoken at IITs, IIMs and corporates like KPMG, Infosys, Accenture and many more). Right from the mail where they invited me, to the last minute detailed itinerary they planned for me, to the smart young lad who came to pick me up at the airport, to the warm welcome I got---all of it , I would say it was impeccable. They were so well organized in terms of planning, arrangements at the venue and the publicity both before and after the events.
I got a standing ovation, as soon as I went up on stage! I spoke about my journey from an unknown blogger to one of India's highest selling authors, and also talked about 4 things that helped me and 2 essential thins that you have to do, if you want to be a writer.
The reception that my talk got was exceptional. I share with you some pictures, which would give you a good idea about it all.

As a writer, it is a LOT of effort to travel to Delhi from Bangalore, just for a talk. It is also a loss of at least 3working days.
But great interactions like this one, makes it all worthwhile and makes it so memorable--both for me as well as for the students who were there that day.
Thank you guys for the warmth, love and the superb hospitality and unforgettable moments. I really appreciate it.
Will definitely stop by your college, next time I am in Delhi.
