Today’s topic seems to be sore one for me. I’m often the one that is called in to fix a site when it goes south. The first question I ask is “Do you have a backup of your site?” Too often the answer is “No 
”
I hear people tell me that they aren’t very technical and creating a back up is far beyond their capabilities. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Although an export may not be the be all and end all, it is better than nothing. Take a few moments to watch the video and see how easy it is – on WordPress as well as Blogger.
For those of you that blog on WordPress, put UpdraftPlus in place. It is free, easy to schedule and will send a backup to your Dropbox or GoogleDrive or even your email.
