Lead me not into temptation, iPhone

So…my cell phone carrier keeps sending me offers to trade in my old iPhone for the latest version for a measly 300 bucks. First, it hasn’t even been a year since I got my current phone, the iPhone 6, and it’s working just fine. Secondly (or sadly, as some people think), I am one of those people that don’t use even a quarter of the technology the phone has. Seriously, I might as well be a Luddite given my usage of this cell phone. Lastly, my current phone was free — bought it with a gift card I won — and looks practically brand new.

Still. I am so very tempted to give in and buy it.

It’s just so new and sleek and techy-looking and seems to be the picture of functionality. I mean, just look at it.
