Today is a great day. My first round of editing has finally been completed. It's amazing how much you change when you go back through your writing. Restructuring sentences, moving chapters around, searching for the perfect words to captivate your readers in that pivotal moment. It is truly awe-inspiring.
I can't tell you how many times I've written and rewritten my query. Perfectionism at its finest. I finally wrote one that I'm happy with and sent it out to a couple of agents. I know it's getting close to the holidays, but I'm really hoping I'll get a response back soon. And hopefully it'll be a good one!
