You don’t have to try very hard to find wildlife in Red River. Whether you’re on a scenic Jeep tour, a hiking trail, or simply traveling down highway 38 just outside of Red River, wildlife is likely to find you.
Big horned sheep have been know to wander across your path on the way in or out of Red River, and white tails can often be seen meandering down Main Street. Even an occasional bear will make an appearance looking for food.
