It was definitely one of the defining moments of my life. My Dad read the intro, and I was already getting a bit bored of this movie. Then the text vanished into the distance… and so did my boredom.
That night I dreamed dreams of tarnished robots and space battles.
Without that moment, without those dreams, I don’t know if I would be writing science-fiction at all.
