In other news (since I've got you by the ear anyway) Jace is up for winning in the "YA love interests who leave you wishing you were 17 again" category and Clockwork Angel is up for Children's Book Club's's 2011 Teen Choice Book of the Year. You can also vote for other hot (fictional) guys and other great books. But voting is good!

Alex Pettyfer has not yet given his consent about his role as Jace Wayland. So...still waiting...:(
I hope he gets the role...me and my friends were all excited cause we love Pettyfer and the movies hes in! If he doesn't get in I'm still going to see it! :)

Dear Ms Clare, I just read bad news. Could you please confirm whether Alex Pettyfer turned down the role as Jace Wayland?
I kinda hope he hasn't. But is there anyone else besides Alex that can play Jace?
So....has Alex Pettyfer said 'Yes' as Jace. He is so perfect. I love Mortal Instruments a lot, but to speak frankly, I only care who will take the role as Jace. Less care for other characters. Love Jace a lot!. Love Alex Pettyfer a lot!
