I really enjoyed this read about the lead-up to the Remembrance Day of 1920.

The story was very well written, kept me turning the pages and left me pondering the characters well after I had finished the book.

For me, some of the words were a little clunky and sometimes the book felt like a writing school project.

Overall it was a very good book and I will most probably read her next book.
