In 11 days I will be sitting on a panel at the Harlem Book Fair entitled: Killing Me Softly - how publishing is killing the black book market.
It's no secret that we will be discussing the fact that publishers are blatantly ignoring AA authors whose novels do not fall under the street, urban or erotica lit umbrellas.

I am attending the Harlem Book Fair, and am really looking forward to this discussion. Ironically, I just saw author Connie Briscoe speak at the Free Library of Philadelphia. During the question/answer segment of her discussion, I asked her what her opinion was on the change of the book publishing market and she has similar opinions that you have. What building is this discussion taking place and at what time? I have been trying to find an itinerary of the Book Fair (particularly on Saturday) and have been unsuccessful in finding it.
