Five things you need to know about 'Carry On'

1. Carry On comes out Oct. 6th in the U.S. and Oct. 8th in the UK.

You can order signed copies from my hometown bookstore, the Bookworm. Just make a note of who you would like the book personalized to.

2. It's a standalone fantasy novel about Simon and Baz, two characters you first met in Fangirl.

3. If you pre-order now, you can get an Emergency Reading Party kit.

Just upload your receipt here. The first thousand people who register will receive party kits. Unfortunately, this offer is valid in the U.S. only.

4. I'm going on tour!

Check out my events page for more details. And check with individual libraries and bookstores for RSVP and ticket info. I'm excited to visit a few brand new cities. (Chicago! St. Louis!)

If you're in New York City, I hope you'll come to my launch party. There will be tea and treats and fun Simon-and-Baz swag. And Lev Grossman, author of The Magicians will be there, talking magic with me. Books will be for sale of course, and I'll sign any of my books that you bring.  More details here -- RSVPs greatly appreciated.

5. I really, really hope you like it.

Kristian Eric Javier I was wondering if there will ever be a Carry On story. Now I don't have to wonder what Baz and Simon's story is all about.

☮ nina ☮ 6. It's gorgeous. The writing, the plot, and especially the characters are just magical. I had already fallen in love with Simon and Baz in Fangirl, but Carry On has made me adore them even more.

Kendra Bought it a couple weeks ago. I am rereading Fangirl just to refresh my memory of some things (and because Fangirl is just so great), but, afterwards, I'll start reading it :) So excited, I can't wait!
