Book #22, About A Vampire, is out!

Finally our favorite rogue hunter's book is out on the bookstore shelves... Yes, About A Vampire is here!

Another way we're celebrating the release of Justin Bricker's book, About A Vampire , is to reveal Chapter One in its entirety. And because we've reached our preorder milestone we're also revealing Chapter Two for the first time ever.

Happy reading everyone and take care!

Jayne I had no idea that this book was so new. This is only my second Argeneau vampire book and I am enjoying this story a ton better than the other one (no, it was so forgettable I don't recall the title). I can't wait to read it!

This is just the latest in the series, this series starts with "A Quick Bite" and the books while they are stand alone make more sense if you read them in order.

Hi ladies...

I'm happy to hear you're enjoying Bricker's story Jayne. As Bobbie mentioned there are quite a few stories in this series. Here's a link to all the books and their reading order .

Thank-you for responding Bobbi!

Cheers! :-)

Susie Finally a story about Bricker! Just love the twist of the story at the end. Did not want to indicate any spoilers.

Leona Dumoulin I just bought your book yesterday and was SOO excited to see that it was out here in Dallas already. We are vacationing here right now, but we are from Canada. I can't wait to dig into Justin's story on the ride home!! :o) LOVE your books!! :o)

message 6: by Debra (new)

Debra Love the series but hated how Justin was treated by the two older hunters . Cold as hell , He may have been a joker and pulled pranks but he never would have intentionally hurt a lifemate.

Joey Rolls I agree Debra!

Beth I agree with Debra!!

Leona Dumoulin I LOVED the whole book!!! :o) Another keeper for the bookcase!

message 10: by Abbi (new)

Abbi I was so ready for Justin's story and couldn't wait to read it. I was a bit disappointed. I didn't like how he was treated by the older hunters and his mate turned out to be kind meh. I loved Lucien in this one...as always...he's adorably cranky. Love it! Not my favorite in the series....but I love this series and can't wait for the next one.

Susie agree to how far the older hunters treated Justin with their "joke". Thank goodness their life mates had some sense. Maybe Justin will reciprocate to those two in future stories. I loved the story.

Hi Debra...
He was definitely put through the wringer in his story however Bricker did harass the others a LOT. (And even though you couldn't tell by the way it was written otherwise it would have tipped their hand, had things truly gone south for Bricker and Holly or if Bricker was in trouble, without a doubt Decker and Anders would have moved mountains to help Bricker out...)

message 16: by Janice (new)

Janice I'm sure I'll re-read About a Vampire, as it made me laugh quite often. I really like the character of Gia, and was glad she found a lifemate, and...I ...hope...he's proves himself to be worthy of her. Also, I loved Lucian's droll...wicked...sense of humor, but I still wouldn't want to run into him in a dark alley, especially if I accidentally ran into him in a Starbucks...or Tim Horton's, and spilt hot coffee on his expensive suit, as one time I dreamed I did at the Starbucks in Eaton Centre --I louved that mall in the 1990s.

message 17: by Janice (new)

Janice I agree with Abbi that Lucian was "adorably cranky', but I'd never say it to his face. I loved his dry wit, but yet...he...seemed almost fatherly... to Justin in About a Vampire. I've always liked Justin, as he seems like a mischeivious little boy... at times.

message 18: by Janice (new)

Janice I really liked Justin's parents, and his mother seemed so...down- to- earth. Justin seems like a kid that is quite mischievous.I was quite curious about his eldest brother, Cam.
