Steam-Powered: The Big Darn Post of Everything You Need to Know, But Didn't Know You Needed

So. Steam-Powered: Lesbian Steampunk Stories. I've made a lot of posts about this anthology, but it occurs to me that it'd be nice to have all the information centralized.

TOC:

N.K. Jemisin: "The Effluent Engine"
Georgina Bruce: "Brilliant"
D.L. MacInnes: "Owl Song"
Sara M. Harvey: "Where the Ocean Meets the Sky"
Beth Wodzinski: "Suffer Water"
Rachel Manija Brown: "Steel Rider"
Shira Lipkin: "Truth and Life"
Matthew Kressel: The Hand that Feeds"
Meredith Holmes: "Love in the Time of Airships"
Teresa Wymore: "Under the Dome"
Tara Sommers: "Clockwork and Music"
Mikki Kendall: "Copper for a Trickster"
Mike Allen: "Sleepless, Burning Life"
Shweta Narayan: "The Padishah Begum's Reflections"
Amal El-Mohtar: "To Follow the Waves"

Why are the first and last story linked? Because "The Effluent Engine" has been available online since last year and "To Follow the Waves" just went up at PodCastle. I have not yet had a chance to listen, but everyone's telling me that the reading by Marguerite Croft ( [info] albionidaho ) is awesome. And, hey, it's PodCastle, so you know that it is made of awesome.

Release Date: Jan. 25

Price: $13.95

Preorders: Still being taken. Email me at upstart(dot)crow @ gmail (dot) com for information. If you have emailed me and received no response, try again. I've been out of town and my email is also being...let's just say "selective" about which messages it gives me. Meaning that anything about Steam-Powered has either been hiding in the junk mail folder or not arriving at all.

Where can I buy it when it comes out?: Amazon for sure. The link is not live yet, but I'll let you know when it is. Also, TorquereBooks.com, which is Torquere Press' bookstore.

Contests: I had to unexpectedly leave town late in December and have been dealing with a sick cat, and haven't yet done the drawing. I'm really, really sorry about that. I will be announcing the winners of the jewelry sets on Friday, so stay tuned. There will also be more necklace giveaways throughout January and February, so please watch this space and our Facebook page. (If you've got a Facebook, please like us! There will be one Facebook-only necklace drawing).

Miscellaneous: Any other questions? Comments? Let me know by commenting here or emailing me. :)
