Hey, all? It looks like the situation is worse than anyone thought.

says that Harrison broke the contract by not paying, meaning that the family has to pay not only cash on delivery of the oil, but more money for the company to inspect the tank and fill it (fire_and_a_rose, did I get that right).
She explains:
With the thirty day contract, they could pay a bill that was mailed to them later by either check or credit/debit.
Now, they have to have actual cash on hand to give them when they fill things. They'll come over and fill the tank to a point tonight--but every hour they are there, it's $90, and they have to service the heater becaues it ran totally dry. Plus the cost of oil. They MIGHT get 10-15 gallons.
Mylia has maybe $200 on hand. She can give that now; she's not going to get more any time soon. Harrison is paid Friday; somehow, we are not feeling optimistic about that.
