My Creeptober consists of: The Bell Witch, The Haunting of Hill House, A Living Nightmare (Cirque du Freak #1), Animosity, and Heart Shaped Box.

I think I will read GHOST STORY by Straub, THE SHINING, SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES and since I have never read anything by Laymon,I will choose one of his.

Why, thank you!! Hill House was a massive flop for me. I did not like it at all. I'm scared to pick up something else now with the bad taste I'm left with after that. Have you read The Bell Witch?
The Haunting of Hill House, Turn of the Screw, The Shining, Salem's Lot, The Book of You. At least, that's the plan.
Yes. I'm reading that as part of the Non-Crunchy Pantsless Book Buddy Read Club (or something like that--I can never get the word order right). It will probably be towards the end of the month for that one, I just don't have the exact date off the top of my head.
