Meet The Men in Cadha’s Rogue
Wait until you meet the men in my new book, Cadha’s Rogue.
Meet Erlan Mason
As a boy, kidnapped from his sister’s care, Erlan was sold to the pirate Brecht de Witt by his nefarious cousin. But Brecht was a good man, and saw that Erlan had promise, so he took the lad into his home and raised him as a son and gives him a new name for a new beginning.
New to the country of Holland, Erlan has to rely on his new family to center his identity, but he never stops missing his sister who died… or so he was told.
When he finds his sister alive, married, and happy, Erlan is elated. He stays with her in Scotland, but he misses the girl who was like his sister, the girl he has fallen in love with, the girl who has his heart back in Holland: Cadha.
Meet Valcymer Vanhorn
When his mother dies with unfinished business, Valcymer Vanhorn takes on the mantle of completing her work. He has a ship and a way to make money by ferrying customers around the narrow seas, but when a strange woman approaches him needing passage to Scotland, Valc hesitates.
The North Sea is dangerous, after the English wars have sent many men into the business of privateering–the early precursor to pirating. Crossing anywhere near England could bring them into the nets of one of these men. Little does he know, this strange woman is the daughter of one of the most famous pirates of them all, and she is determined to get to Scotland as quickly as she can.
Valc stows his parcel and sets sail across the North Sea, keeping a weather eye on the horizon in search of pirates. But he needs a free eye for Cadha, as well, because she has captured his heart before they can even reach open water.
Get to know them better Sept. 29!
