Announcing my new YA novel!

I've been working on my next YA book -- very eerie and Gothic, sort of a spin-off like Splintered, but not Wonderland related -- and have been itching to tell everyone about it (waiting for the green light from my publisher).

Today they're letting me announce it!

Here's the official blurb from GoodReads (click here to add to your GR shelf):

Yay! The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux is one of my favorite stories of all time. I'm close to the halfway mark in my spin...

Shay I love Phantom of the Opera, and Splintered was so amazing. I can't wait to get obsessed with another of A.G. Howard's touching stories.
(Morpheus 2.0, though???)

Haha. You have to know there will never be another Morpheus, right? He's one of a kind, and that's just the way we want him. ;)

This hero is dark and at times duplicitous, like Morpheus, but he's his own character. They don't have much in common other than agendas that are furtive and possibly dangerous, when it comes to the heroine.

Thank you! That is so perfect. I love finding characters I can relate to others, but aren't really the same! :)

There will never be anyone quite like Morpheus! :D
