Don’t forget that much of the time, when you see a photo of a celebrity, unless it’s an actual photo shoot, it’s not a picture they posed for or necessarily wanted to have taken. If you had a camera shoved in your face when you were out and about, chances are you’d look grumpy, too. Paparazzi love doing this, springing out at a celebrity or throwing invasive, rude questions at them, or even just startling them, and then suddenly there are pictures of them being published with headlines or labels like “John FamousGuy Looking Irritated As He Shops For Bed Linens!!!” or whatever.

Don’t judge celebrities by pictures they didn’t ask to have taken. Don’t judge the strength of their relationships by pap photos. And don’t judge the pictures you don’t see, either - just because people haven’t been seen together doesn’t mean they hate each other or are never together. I’m not saying that NOT being seen together means that they are, either, just that what we see in public in general for these people is not at all an accurate reflection of their lives. Never forget that. We can rely on their own choices of words, especially when we can see/hear it in video/radio (rather than potentially misquoted in print media, say), or what they write in public fora like social media. But pictures that they didn’t pose for? Or the opposite, having not been seen together? That’s not reliable evidence.

Just a friendly reminder to use your Sherlock logic and all that. :)
