Today I am preparing a big supper for the lady in my life: Ravioli ripieni di magro, which is spinach and ricotta stuffed ravioli with a sage butter sauce. I’m the cook in this relationship, but today I’m going all out–making my own pasta.

I’ve never made pasta before, so am going to need some beer. Your prayers wouldn’t hurt either.

Also, I’m making tomato-artichoke-pesto breadsticks and salad. She will be the dessert.

I love spending the day in the kitchen. The kitchen is the only place in the Universe which makes complete sense.
