Piano music on a snowy day. I'm sitting here, trying to write. The snow is eye-popping outside, having already piled up significantly. We're supposed to get up to seven inches today, thanks to two fronts coming through. Coming from my music library are pieces backed by the piano. Songs by Damien Rice, Enya, Mary Beth Maziarz. That sort of thing. Gorgeous stuff that lends itself to the mood of the day. The piano is one of
the most beautiful sounding instruments. It's amazing how something so large can produce music so soft and sweet. It's a bit like the equine of the instrument world that way. I mean, is there a more noble animal on the planet than the horse? Is there a classier instrument than the piano?
