Blogger/Gmail accounts are being hacked -- I think
Apparently, the BOOKS page of this blog has been hacked or otherwise corrupted. At minimum, all the images have been destroyed. It'll be awhile before I can fix the mess because I'm too busy writing to waste a day cleaning up a hack mess.
Anyone reading this who has a blogger account: be careful. I receive bizarre daily emails with attachments from "gmail." I never view these emails because they're obviously fake. (I can tell for various reasons. Today's line that I can see without touching the email is: "We have notice that your account information on our database..." I just googled the line above. Take a look at the info at this url:

It took an entire day to fix the laptop and restore everything. Prior to the crash, my network connection had slowed to snail pace for a week or two.
