Why you should read with your older child

It helps your child to become an early reader, broadens their imagination and curiosity, and better prepares them for entry into academic life. All of these are extremely important and ones that I like to always promote. However, there is another even stronger reason to read with your child when they are young—and even when they are older—which is the bond it creates between parent and child.
