Jessica YES YES YES YES. I have read a book like that. One particular author that I absolutely love wrote a book set in "my world" and it took all I had to finish that particular book. Because it was just so far fetched that I almost couldn't finish it. I read another book where the author used the wrong interstate when he was talking about someone traveling thru a particular state...but being FROM that state I knew there was no "I-XX" so I about lost it! Small things, but oh so important when you are writing a book. Kudos to you on how well you write!!!

Thanks for the kind words about my writing! I had to make up a few things in Catch of a Lifetime (like putting a fictional university in a town where a real university exists) and generalize a few other things in the story (who the football team played) mostly to avoid liability and believability issues with avid football fans. But the small details can make or break a book faster than anything.
