Letter from the Editor: September Edition
This month marks 2 and ½ years since Where Are You Press
released it’s first book. Thank you to everyone who has supported us since then
and everyone who has discovered us, supported and shared our work in the past
two years. For a small press to be doing so well after just two years is very
uncommon, and we owe that to you.
This brings me to our news this month:
Because we have grown so much, the number of orders we are processing through
our online store, www.whereareyoupressstore.com, are simply overwhelming. As many of you know, we have been back-ordered on a few
of our bestselling books for over a month now, and while we are working to
correct the problem, we are also changing the way we do business so that things
like this don’t happen again.
From now on, our books will be much more readily available through larger
corporations who can handle the shipping for us, such as Lulu, Amazon, and
Barnes & Noble. We are hoping to have all our products available through
those channels by October, in time for the start of the Christmas rush. For
now, the best way to support us and our artists is through these stores.
