The Addiction of a Series

* I need to read the next book like yesterday!!
* I think I'll wait until they're all out, so I can read them one after the other!

*What about HIS story? What about HER story?
* I hope this series never ends!

Ha! These are all thoughts in my head as I read a great series. From the BDB to Wing Slayer Hunters to Demonica - I'm hooked and I LOVE it! Right now, I'm reading Lora Leigh's Breed series and as I do I have this sense of urgency - like I want to read them all so fast - I want to know what's going to happen to them - how they become a community - how they/if they finally get even with their tormentors.

Problem is, when I do read them all, when I've finally read every one, I'll feel a huge let down. It's as though my time with the Breeds is over and I'll never get to spend time in their interesting and sensual world again.

But I suppose those are the breaks, and the sign of a great series. So, I suppose I'll just put on a happy face and start all over again. Perhaps, with a new series like...say.. Karen Marie Moning's Darkfever?

What about you? What are your addictive series?

Michelle Leah Olson I can completely relate with all of your opening dialogue! My favs--oh goodness, there're so many: JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood & Fallen Angels, Gena Showalter's Lords of the Underworld & Alien Huntress, Larissa Ione's Demonica, Alexandra Ivy's Guardians of Eternity, Kresley Cole's Immortals after Dark, LA Banks' Vampire Huntress Legends & Crimson Moon, Keri Arthur's Riley Jenson, Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress, Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed, Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter, Dream-Hunter & League, Kim Harrison's Hallows, Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld, Charlaine Harris' Southern Vampire, Lynsay Sands' Argeneau...I really could go on & on. I am so hooked on my series, in fact, that I created what is now a 60+ page Paranormal Series Book List so I could keep track of everything. Between that, GoodReads listing almost all future releases & their dates so you can mark them as To Read, and Amazon Kindle's ability to Pre-Order future releases--I'm pretty much set.  Which is a good thing, since I'm one that cannot start a new series unless I have all books currently available at hand.  There isn't much more frustrating than wanting to know what happens next & not being able to find out just because you failed to prepare... :-)

Wendy *Sebella Blue* Mitchell I have an ADDICTIVE personality. When I find a new series, I become obsessed. Unfortunately with your series, I started at the beginning and there were no more available and I had to WAIT!!!! GRRRR!
