Has Clara Moved on in Doctor Who Series 9?

In the run up to the new series, there has been a lot of discussion over how much the events of the end of last season will have a lasting effect on Clara.

In a new interview, Jenna Coleman reveals that Clara’s perspective on her own life has changed and the losses that she has experienced have certainly informed how the character confronts situations in the latest series. Meanwhile, showrunner Steven Moffat has revealed that Clara has been able to get over Danny, but she’s sad that she lost a tremendously good and noble man.

There is certainly very little sign that Clara will be pining over Danny which is a good thing for the ongoing storyline no longer lingering on the mistakes of the past, something which Doctor Who has revelled in during previous series.  All that matter now are the adventures that are yet to come!
