The human colonists of Terranue have as their leader, Tamsarandem, the only Soul-bond of Three that has ever existed. Second, they must find a way to survive three of the planet’s five seasons. Otherwise, they’ll be baked, frozen, and pummeled to death. Third, they must protect themselves from the giant bears, saber tooth lions, and T. rexes that roam their planet. But worst of all, deep within the planet, a seed of evil grows, waiting to devour every living creature on the surface.Every day in their new paradise is a challenge to survive. Despite all the advantages the Gods have provided, success is neither easy nor certain, and people are rarely as good as they need to be.

Blue turned and his heart nearly stopped. “Ky get Saran into the tree now!” “Mother, climb the tree!” Ky yelled as he ran toward her.Instead of climbing, Saran stared at the bulls running full speed toward them. As the beasts neared, they lowered their heads close to the ground so their horns skimmed the high, aqua-colored, grass. Ky gripped her waist and lifted her into the tree. She scrambled onto a limb then looked down. The face of a giant bull stared up at her. “Kyros, where are you!” she cried out.He answered from higher in the tree, “Stop teasing the bull and climb to me.” She grinned at the angry bull. “I’m going to move farther up now. Perhaps we can chat once you understand who we are.”Fury raged within Blue as he watched the lead bull attempt to snare Saran with his horn. He struggled to maintain his stately manner when someone he loved so dearly was in danger, but Shaman Troy and Blue had spent a great deal of time conversing during their long travel to Terranue. And he suspected much of the young shaman’s sage advice came from the Gods themselves. One warning was not to let his love for one be the destruction of his people, the Sargons, who had waited so long for his return.While every fiber of his body wanted to run to the tree and protect Saran, to kill the Sargons who attempted to harm her, his brain forced him to be reasonable. Ky had gotten her in the tree in time. She was safe.
