I love how detailed and on top of your blogging you are, Alec. Hope the teaching in VT goes well and enjoy your time with the second year CCA kids :D

I think I mostly blog so that years later when I'm like, "What was I doing back in 2015?" I'm able to look it up and go "oh yeah!" :P I hope you're enjoying being out of school and that you're putting all that free time to good use ;) Can't wait to see some new comics from your corner!
I used to keep a paper journal for that same purpose- to go back and see what the heck I'd been doing in the past, because I can't seem to remember anything past 6 months ago when life gets busy. I am enjoying being out of school, and I have been drawing like crazy! I just started posting a 24 page comic (a side project) on my tumblr which you can see here: http://redgoldsparks.tumblr.com/tagge...I'm also going to start posting The Thief's Tale chapter two really soon on this new tumblr page I made: thethiefstale.com
I also wanted to say I started following your Isle of Elsi tumblr and I enjoy your comments about status updates. I actually found your "Reassessing my original goal" post really encouraging. I'm not sure if it was supposed to be, but it was!

Wow, Maia, you've built a really nice home for The Thief's Tale! That site looks fantastic. It's cool to see your adaptation of Tom O'Bedlam too - I've found that bouncing between two projects can sometimes keep you more productive on BOTH because you don't get burned out. Thanks for checking out the Isle of Elsi tumblr - I'm glad the reassessment of my goals was encouraging - sometimes you gotta just face the facts that your past-self didn't have all the answers! :) I'm working on the real Isle of Elsi site with my website designer friend and it should launch in the next month or two... I'm pretty excited for everyone to check it out!
