Dominance: Sherlock comes on first and he comes on STRONG

Now, enter John, who’s immediately under Sherlock’s spell,

This is how he sees him: beautiful, charismatic, mysterious,

His mouth’s already open, 30 seconds in.  Already mesmerized,

Competing for attention,

Asserting dominance.  Here he shows that he knows a lot about John while john still knows nothing about him.  And yet, this is, ‘enough to be going on’, to become flatmates.  Translation: he’s choosing You.  You don’t choose him, he chooses You.  No mention is made of whether this is enough for John to be going on: the assumption is that he will say, ‘yes’.  John, now, is at a disadvantage, he is exposed; this stranger knows intimate information from just looking at him while Sherlock, himself, only grows More mysterious because of it.  He sees you, you don’t see him.  He has all the power, here and it’s a form of flirtation: he is dominating John,

Aftermath: trying to act like his whole life didn’t just change.  aka ‘down boner’ 1,

I said, ‘down’!  Oh, man, I have to fuck that guy immediately!  Or like in a well-earned 5-7 years, something like that,

Did the vision just wink at me?  Is he actively trying to sabotage project, ‘down boner’?  He knows I have a boner!  Mike, what did you just do?

Posts like this express exactly why I could never limit myself to only bottomlock! The power balance between them has always been too even to me, and that’s precisely what I love about them together. It’s rarely totally clear that one of them is dominant over the other - in any sense! They each have their areas of strength (and weakness) and it evens out really beautifully. They’re both tops. They’re both bottoms. It all depends on the day and the circumstance. Just in my view, though. :) Bottom line is, I love them together in any way, really. <333333
