Baymax iPhone Case - A Review
To all who are reading this,
I really have caught Baymax fever, and I'm definitely in need of a personal healthcare companion of my own! And lucky me, I have one!
Pikachu phone case
If you don't know who Baymax is, I better introduce you! He's a plus-sized robot, created to be a healthcare nurse and appear less frightening to children than a standard robot. He features in the Disney animated film, Big Hero 6, released in 2015. He's fast becoming a favourite character of mine, and decided I needed a new phone case to express my love! My old phone case was a Pikachu silicone from the Pokémon franchise, that I'd bought online from Tokyo Toys.
My new phone case came from a Chinese seller known as electric_1688 on eBay, and was reasonably priced at £3.98, with free delivery. The delivery was estimated between 4 August 2015 - 28 August 2015, but I was delighted to receive it on 1 August. All very good points, and it also helps that the seller has 99.2% positive feedback. The case is for iPhone 5c, but the seller does offer variety for other iPhones and Samsung.
The case itself is made of silicone, and so when you open the packaging, it does have a strong smell, but it goes fast. The case also holds the phone in well and is secure - proven when I turned it upside down and shook it over my dining table! The lock button is embedded in the top of Baymax's body and works without a problem. The headphone jack, USB port and speakers are easily accessed and the casing doesn't muffle any sound from your music or any videos. The camera hole is on the front of Baymax's chest and doesn't interfere when taking a photograph or a video.
Baymax in selfie mode...The case is also comfortable in the hand and I'm still able to do all the things I used to do with my old casing - take photos, watch YouTube videos, browse and read blogs/eBooks, message, call and log into all my social networks and apps!
The volume controls are a little off though, and to truly turn the sound on or off, I have to use my pinky finger to alter it, or even more the case aside. Then again, I'm one of those people who usually has it on silent most of the time anyway!
Baymax's little details are great, including the simplistic facial expression, the creasing on his arms and legs, fingers and his chest port where in the film, his microchip is stored.
The item was certainly as described by seller, and I'd definitely browse their store again, just to see what they have on offer!
Yours, with eternal ink,
Zoe
