As someone who has suffered only one concussion, which has been more than moderately traumatic, I can barely imagine what these football players have and continue to experience(d).


Thanks to Will Smith and the filmmakers of “Concussion,” coming out this Dec., 2015, for bringing concussion syndrome to more people’s attention.

It didn’t take a doctor to tell us that football players who suffer repeated concussions are doing major damage to their brains… well actually, it did. His name is Bennet Omalu, and he discovered chronic traumatic encephalopathy (or CTE) after conducting the autopsy of former NFL player Mike Webster.
