Do you ever think about the fact that we’re all like super excited about the future almost death of John Watson, a.k.a. three garridebs?

Seriously, though, we’re all “I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL JOHN WATSON IS BLEEDING OUT IT’S GOING TO BE MAGICAL”

You know, they might not give us “the moment” at the end of whatever episode (4.3?) this turns out to be. They might make a real cliffhanger of it … show John getting shot, show his eyes take in his grievous wound and then show him meet Sherlock’s horrified gaze. Have him brokenly whisper “Oh, God, Sherlock …” (or something equally heart-ripping) and then fade to black and roll the credits. I wouldn’t put it past Mofftiss for a moment to keep us hanging for another two or three years!
