First Line Friday – Stronghold
Today’s First Line Friday is from a VERY unedited version of Stronghold (Stronghold #4)…
In theory, they had a good plan.
Get out. Get safe. Live as long as they could.
Sure, they’d be tucked away in the mountains somewhere and they’d have no one but themselves to rely on, but this plan had the potential to keep them alive.
Given everything that had happened in the past week, anything that kept them on this side of living was good.
So in theory, they had a good plan. Reality made that plan a little stickier.
Get out. Get supplies. Avoid the zombies. Go to Marcus and Sarah’s place and let them check for survivors. Try not to listen to Emma as she dry heaved into a paper bag. Get to the mountains.
