2,800 followers! Goodness! Hello! *waves* 

It seems to be the pattern that every new 100 followers I post a general hello & welcome aboard and reiterate my follow back “policy” (it’s not really that regulated!), which goes something like: if you followed me, I’ll follow you back. Let me just add two three quick things: 

1) If I follow 2,800 blogs, obviously I’m going to get a lot of content I have no interest in. Therefore: please use tags! That’s all I ask. I’m not telling anyone what to post or what not to post - just please use tags so that my blacklist can filter my dash a little, k? And no: if you reblog or post something and forget once or twice, I’m not going to unfollow you. But if you post 25 posts in a row of a fandom I’m not into, I might, and it won’t be personal. That said, if I do unfollow you and you’re hurt, please just send me a little message and I’ll rectify it immediately!

2) Weirdly, I don’t always get notifications when someone new follows me. The number will go up, but there will be no email and no entry on my activity page. If that happens, that you don’t see a follow back from me - same thing: just send me a wee message and I’ll fix it straightaway! 

3) Oh, whoopsie, there are three things. If I follow you back and later discover that you’re a hate blog, or post racist/misogynist/any other -ist crap, I will not only unfollow you, but block you. That’s not on. (I’m saying this because it’s happened more than once now.) There are people I’m not a fan of that I may mention in a critical light on occasion, but I will not spread libel or rumours. And there’s one particular fictional character whom I loathe with a (well-deserved, IMO) passion, and you will already know who that is, so we’re probably cool. :) 

If you’re not interested in my fic/writing updates, just block the tag “writer stuff”, which I always use for those posts. I think that about covers it! Find me on ao3, if you like. Thanks for following me!!!!
