No you have it wrong. The coach they were rioting over wasn’t the one molesting, it was the one that didn’t say anything about it. When the controversy broke out they wanted to take a statue of the non-molester down and because he was such a revered coach the students got pissed.
But like…..thats still an incredibly stupid thing to riot over. :/

ahem, you should google search WVU riots. Just last year we had riots because we won a football game and people were, idk, excited? So they literally destroyed the town. Not the first time either, so I’m told. Riot squads were needed, cops shooting rubber bullets, kids flipping cars and pulling down lamp posts and getting pepper sprayed. The whole deal, it was no joke. All over some sports…
