Michael Cisco
Michael is one of my absolute favourite authors working today. His writing conveys the crepuscular enigma of Ligotti and Lovecraft, the introspection of Kafka, the word-sorcery of Borges.
More importantly, Michael Cisco reaches past his influences, fashioning a canon that is wholly his own.
