First Line Friday – Cursed Wolves

Today’s First Line Friday is from Cursed Wolves (Grimwood #2) which is my August release.

Connor could tell by the prickle on the back of his neck that his stalker had returned.

The feeling of being watched had started nearly two months ago. Two long months of having his daily movements dissected and studied. He didn’t like it.

Today, he’d get to the bottom of who they were and why they were following him around like a stray dog.

Until the little troublemaker walked into his snare, however, there was work to be done. The muscles in his shoulders flexed and bunched as he swung his axe in a graceful movement to split the log he’d been readying.
