Darkness Inside of Me

There is a darkness inside of me

Yearning to boil outward

To peer into the darkest recesses of your mind

And rip your sanity away

In the obscure place you would rather forget

I hunger to see the fear flashing across your eyes

To see the things you hide beneath a fair disguise

I want to tear off your mask

Shred the world you believe in

I want to obliterate your façade

Annihilate your charade

I want to consume all that you are

And vomit up the disgusting truth of all you will never be.
