I've taken some time out of my post-RWA 2015 schedule to pen this to you all, but wow - it was a big 2 weeks here in New York City!

I had heard reports from back home in Melbourne that temperatures are reaching below zero degrees Celsius. While Melbourne can be cold in winter, we don’t normally get that icy. I’m hoping my more delicate plants have survived the cold snap. If you’re a reader in Melbourne (or the east coast of Australia) I hope you’re rugging up and spending time under the blankets or by an open fire – with a good book, of course!

New York City was nothing short of a frenzy at the moment, with tourists enjoying summer holidays, plus school camps and conferences, all combined with hot muggy days. The RWA (Romance Writers of America) conference was intense and exciting. The conference opened with the Readers for Life Literacy Autographing which was a great success – hundreds of authors coming together with readers to support very worthwhile charities. This year, proceeds go to ProLiteracy Worldwide, Literacy Partners, and the Literacy Assistance Center. Thanks to all my readers who attended - it was great catching up with you all! I hope you enjoy the books purchased from the many different authors in attendance.

The rest of the week passed in a whirlwind of workshops, meetings, and catch ups – a fantastic opportunity to refresh and motivate for another year ahead. As I write this, I’m taking a breather, relaxing a little, seeing some shows and soaking in the warm temperatures before the long flight home.

And, finally, I have some news regarding the Cynster Family Tree Poster! Those who registered for the poster recently received an email from my publisher with an update on the situation. I can now add that the final poster artwork has been approved and it is now being printed! Yay! I am so happy to be able to say that the posters will be winging their way to all who registered in the next few weeks. We will also have a downloadable digital image available later in the year, available to all everywhere! More to come on that.

While we’re on the subject of the Cynsters, it’s been encouraging to see chatter across social media about how much you enjoyed the latest two books and speculating about the next Cynster novel, which is due to be released in 2017. It’s motivating to hear how much you enjoy the family and their stories, and I’m already looking forward to starting the next three. As for who pairs with whom, we’ll just have to wait for 2017 and see what happens in the Cynster world! I’ll be announcing the release date for the next Cynster novel in mid 2016, so stay tuned. But before we get to the Cynsters, you’ll have THE ADVENTURERS QUARTET to indulge in. The first of the four novels is done and in. The second installment, A BUCCANEER AT HEART, is being proofread as we speak, with the cover coming along nicely as well. And I’m about to dive into writing the third installment, THE DAREDEVIL SNARED, which is turning out to be a rollercoaster of a story! As the months roll by you’ll find more information, descriptions, cover reveals, and giveaways appearing here and in my email newsletter.

So…What’s up next?

September 29, 2015 - mass market paperback edition of BY WINTER’S LIGHT.

December 29, 2015 - The first installment of THE ADVENTURERS QUARTET, The Lady's Command. Meet Captain Declan Frobisher and Lady Edwina nee Delbraith and follow them on their journey of discovery into love, marriage, and a secret mission to uncover a dastardly plot.

And then?

2016 will bring you the second, third and final installment of THE ADVENTURERS QUARTET.

2017 will also bring more Cynster novels, and after reading BY WINTER’S LIGHT, THE TEMPTING OF THOMAS CARRICK, and A MATCH FOR MARCUS CYNSTER, you’ll be able to guess which three Cynsters will get their romances next. Yes, those three - 2017 will be a very big year!

2018 will bring the next three Casebook of Barnaby Adair novels. I’m not completely certain which characters will feature, but you will have met those who have their romance in each book before.

And there’s many more stories on my TBW (to be written) List to follow after that. In short, there are lots more books coming your way.
