My Newest Book
I've been working steadily on a new crochet book, with a story and patterns. I've also been working on boxing my Looming Lady books into a set. In the middle of that a new book presented itself, rather pushily. I just finished it, even though I'm plodding along on the other projects. Whew.
My newest novel is on what seems to be a popular theme, but I think it's from a different point of view. Tales of Survival begins with lights out across the world. Mayor Liz Jackson, of Farboro, WA, has read an interesting tale of an EMP disaster. She has formed some opinions on how she would have handled it. So she implements her ideas in an attempt to save the city.
The Trents are a deaf couple with 2 children who are blessed with a good stock of food, thanks to Ellen's garden. But there are a lot of trials to get through without technology.
Six families and individuals in a low rent apartment complex band together to guard their homes and survive in a very different world than what they have known.
All of these survivors and more struggle through hunger, cold, rain, earthquakes and other natural disasters, lack of communication and transportation, a massive fire, dissidents, and terrorists. Can normal people make it? People with health conditions and family issues? Who will survive? On Amazon and Kindle now.
