The reason I want to be a pediatric oncologist......

I read tfios in sixth grade and I remember feeling so deeply touched by the whimsical and heartfelt tale written by fishingboatproceeds. Then, a few months later, I heard the song Ronan by the very talented taylorswift. This song was about a little four year old boy who died of nueroblastoma. That was the day that I promised myself, I didn’t want another parent crying over their child. It’s never gonna be okay when little wonderful children die of the cruel mutations of their own cells. That’s the reason I won’t give up. We have to fight it. We can win. I hope somewhere, someday, a wonderful star can cure cancer.
