One simple compliment changed EVERYTHING!

What started out as a simple conversation about one thing quickly escalated into something totally different, that had me questioning a critical choice I've made in how I encourage my children...all from ONE SIMPLE COMPLIMENT! Which prompted me to ask the question...is there a such thing as over complimenting your children? In an attempt to boost their self confidence are we doing more harm than good? Is there a limit?
