Unscuttle Excerpt:
UNSCUTTLE: 2049-2080 (From the UNBELIEVE Series)
Rough Draft Exerpt:
"Kazimir." Charlie said with a deep grumble from the doorway as he lifted his arm to prop himself up easier. "Come here, please."
Rolling his eyes in exasperation, Isaak stood from his chair and gave Caspar's hand a light pat before walking out into the hallway, Charlie quick to follow. "What is it? Do our stories not match up properly, sir?" Isaak droned as if this news was both predictable and boring.
"You ripped out-" Charlie began to say loudly before a young nurse walked by, her heels clicking loudly against the stone flooring. Smiling, Charlie nodded to the young woman and then leaned in a bit closer to Isaak and lowered his voice into a whisper. "You ripped out a chunk of Ailbe's throat with your teeth, Kazimir. God only knows how long it'll be for him to wake up- let alone the fact that you bashed in Kayne's brains so hard it's a wonder he doesn't have permanent brain damage!" Charlie whisper-shouted. He scoffed when Isaak smiled back at him.
"But he does have brain damage, da?" Isaak asked with a cheeky little grin that made Charlie instinctually step back.
Just wanted to give a quick thank you to anyone who's ever taken the time to rate and/or write a review for my work- either on a blog, amazon, or otherwise.. Greatly appreciated and I'll be sure to keep all interested on further updates involving the UNBELIEVE Series. (Currently I'm working on UNSCUTTLE: 2049-2080 which will be the ultimate prequel to the series. It will take the reader through Kazimir's story and therefore also The Great War Of Mankind and the creation of the New World. Next, I have a follow up for UNBELIEVE: 2096 in line.. However, it is presently unnamed. Thank you again, -L. W. Brook)
