This may be a weird question: what is your daily schedule like? I've been struggling with motivation a bit lately, and I feel like it would help me to have more structure and discipline in my life.

I don’t really follow a regular work schedule.

A lot of what I do with drawing and writing is about trying to forget that it’s work–or putting any value on it that it’s better than watching, reading or playing a game.

I do like to go to cafes to think away from a computer. and I keep a lot of paper reference around so I don’t get too caught up in looking images up.  I do a lot of planning in coffee shops–layouts and such. also once I know what I’m drawing audio books are really good for keeping me in my chair drawing.–also some days I like to do quick redraws of photos or art I like and I do stuff like focusing on how much I like just making lines on paper.

I feel like motivation is like fuel and sometimes you have to find new sources or ways to just get into the moment to moment craft of it (I call that kind of drawing

washing dishes ) in order to aim for making something that expresses how you feel about the world around you.
