Hi Gail, I was wondering what you think of Amazons Attack

It’s one of those books that makes me sad. The scripting is good, the art is magnificent, but some of the ideas in it are just oddball and there’s such a feeling of contempt for the Amazons, which I think was reflective more of editorial at DC at the time than the actual creative team.

I don’t remember it that well, but it bugged me that the highest profile story featuring the Amazons in ages was that. Fortunately, Rucka was around to do much more interesting and creative things with them!
