#RWA2015 I’m here by Barbara Edwards

I’m at The Romance Writers of America conference in New York. We’re staying at the Marriott Marquis on Broadway. I volunteered to help at the Literacy book-signing and loved the crowds. Writers tend to be solitary people, but this was special. 480 authors signed books. There were thousands of readers. Wow.

This morning, Thursday I helped at the pro retreat. I moderated Catherine Bybee’s table. She’s a fascinating speaker and I can see why she is a best-selling author. Lots of energy, intelligent and fun. She’s an advocate for using social media in a positive manner. I have to transcribe my notes to my file. Another to-do.

Later is the General Meeting and a get-together with other Wild Press authors.

And dozens of classes. Not enough time. What to do next? I’m not sure.
