Comment on My General Operating Principles: 37 Principles for Making Hard Decisions by Taylor Pearson

“Definite in ends, adaptable in means” is typically how I think about it.

I want to write a book is a definite end, but the means are dependent on the resources at hand. Maybe a good editor will email out of the blue, maybe I’ll have to find one, etc. I feel like you can create optionality to enable more/better means for getting to the end you want without knowing exactly what “more/better means” will be.
