Jon Snow????

For my fellow Game of Thrones fans, more speculation about the fate of Jon Snow.

Rebecca Oh Jon is back but I don't think he'll have as much screen time next season as he did in Season 5. One also has to consider Bran. I believe Jon and Bran's fate are linked, otherwise Bran's POV makes no sense.

Plus from a show sense, Dan n Dave have set the scenes for Season 6...Melisandre returning to the Wall & Davos is there as well. Tormund and the Wildlings are there...And another reason; they simply don't have the time to waste when you consider there are only 20 more episodes to go until the Finale.

So I guess we'll have to wait and see.....But no sign of Stephen Dillane(I think Stannis is dead).

Sharon The HBO writes said Stannis is definitely dead. Of course they said that about Jon Snow, too.

Rebecca When it comes to Stannis he is badly wounded in his leg with no horse to ride. I would prefer to see him dead than have him fall into Ramsay hands.

But this is another scene that simply makes no sense. Brienne wanders about the battle scene and no-one sees her. Ramsay returns to Winterfell without bothering to look for Stannis...In medieval warfare wasn't finding the leader of your opposing army and placing his head on a spike the norm?....

I do think Stannis is dead; I can't see him limping his way back to the Wall....

Sharon That struck me, too, Rebecca--that Ramsay would not have been searching the field for Stannis, either dead or alive.

Absolutely true. How would he know if Stannis is even dead? This is where Dan n Dave mess up a bit and under-value the audience's intelligence...As it is Stannis was alive when Ramsay heads back to Winterfell....Hmmm makes you wonder doesn't it? We never actually see Stannis beheaded and Ramsay leaving the field without his body is very odd....And in the books Stannis sends Massey on a mission and insists he returns even if he hears rumours of his death.....So is Stannis dead?

Sharon I really do think he is, Rebecca, for I do not think his role matters much anymore. Who'd support him now? Anyone with a spark of decency would be appalled by his sacrifice of his own child and his loss to Ramsay, who is no Caesar, would discourage the pragmatists from following him. We shall see, though it will be a long wait...sigh.

Rebecca Yes, I think so too, especially as he isn't who he thought he was and the fact that he is essentially a kin-killer. I hate how the show misrepresented him and totally rushed through his storyline. I did not always like Stannis, but he was a fascinating character. There is simply no more time and with only 20 episodes left, many more characters will be getting the chop...but I do hope in S6 they might focus on the Freys and the northern alliance....And the prophecy concerning Sansa slaying a giant will play out....that will be something to wait for, wont it?
