Side Effects of Self-Publishing

First, there’s family advertising. My amazing little brother keeps telling his friends at boyscouts and 4H that his sister wrote a book (I sold several to his friends). I meet people and get introduced as “the sister who wrote a book,” and sometimes I greet people and they ask, “Are you the one who wrote a book?” This makes my heart so happy.
