Reading Rut

I’m in a reading rut right now.

This can happen when you have too many books.

I have too many books.

It started with my quest to better understand the fur trade of the late-18th and early-19th centuries.

I got a ton of books at the library, read through most of them, and then got up into the 1830s.

That time didn’t interest me too much and I slowed down.

Now I’ve got these nonfiction books sitting around, no fiction books.

I haven’t been reading as much.

Maybe it’s time to just throw in the towel on the last few and switch to something else for awhile.

I dunno.
